30.5 miles
OK the end of the trail is now getting in sight. We have passed into Washington!!!
We left the Swamp. Grabbed a coffee and donut and headed to the "Bridge of the Gods".
The bridge is very narrow and the ground is grated so you can see straight down to the water.
We celebrated at the middle of the bridge.
The hiking included 2 massive climbs. It reminded us that we are no longer in Oregon and we are going to have to work hard for the next 500 miles to Canada.
The trail was very green and overgrown at times.
