Today had a lot of climbing. But the views when we were up on the divide were amazing.
The weather wasn't the best, we had some rain showers and there were thunderstorms in the forecast.
Near the end of the day, when the thunderstorms were supposed to happen, we had a choice of climbing over an exposed peak. Or take a longer route around the mountain. We chose to take the longer route. We didn't want to be caught up there with lightning.
