Today was much needed! After 12 days it felt so good to just relax and not hike.

We went to a diner for breakfast. I had the garbage omelette, we which is basically everything you can think of in a 4 egg omelette.

We went back to pack, organize our food for the next stretch, then check out of our hotel. Luckily the front desk also agreed to hold our backpacks for the rest of the day.

We then headed out to find a brewery. We found Mighty Mo Brewing. Their beer was excellent. I even noticed that their brewhouse and tanks were built by the company I used to work for before the PCT.

We got there around 1pm. They had TVs, ping pong, foosball, etc. So we found no reason to leave since it was 102 degrees outside. We were also so glad to not be hiking.

They also served food which was good. But by around 5pm we decided to go find something else to eat. We did a big loop around the downtown, found nothing good, and went back to Mighty Mo.

We texted Andrew, the guy who picked us up, to see if he wanted to get some dinner with us before he drove us back to the trail.

The 4 of us shared a pizza and then headed back to the trailhead at Benchmark.
