We weren't sure how many miles we would need to do today until we got our Yellowstone permit finalized. We called the permit office and secured our camp spots. Just like Glacier, camps fill up quickly, but we were lucky and most of the camps we wanted were available. We are planning a couple short days so we can enjoy the park.
Our permit schedule meant that we didnt need to hike very far today. So we just relaxed, hung out at the RV park hot tub, ate, etc.
We ended up hiking about 5 miles. But it kept us near a dirt road and there were a few RV's camped near us. It was a big ATV riding area.
We packed out some brats and corn. So we cooked them over the fire. It was an awesome dinner.
