We only had 8 miles to get to the highway. We crossed a few awesome lakes along the way. One was so still that it was a perfect mirror of the mountain behind it. It was amazing.

We got to Brooks Lake lodge about 5.5 miles in. All four of us had shipped a box there. They were all big boxes because of the next big section coming up.

We had been debating going into Dubois, Wyoming for a couple days. It has always been an option and we shipped boxes to Brooks Lake just in case we wanted to keep on moving. Even with the short days, we were pretty tired since our last zero day was in Lima, about a week and half ago. With the next section, our next zero day could be in 2 weeks. So we decided to go into Dubois.

Dubois is a nice hiker town with lots of motels, lots of restaurants, and an outfitter. Heather needs new shoes.
