Today we passed the 400 mile mark! Other than that, it was a kind of boring day. We woke up early, did 14 miles before lunch, took a 3 hour break/nap, then did the remaining 10 miles in the afternoon.
The landscape is turning more into desert as we descend from the San Gabriel mountains. We have about 300 miles of pure desert ahead. I'm not really looking forward to it. But after that, I'll be in the sierras.
