14 miles
Today was a nero. We spent all morning in Burney. Relaxing in the motel and eating. There was a continental breakfast at the motel and we took advantage of it. Brendan (Sheppdog) and I went to McDonald's around noon and had one last big order of food.
Just after we got a ride back to the trail. The motel actually had a list of trail angels that were willing to drive hikers back to the trail.
It was another hot day, we hiked 8 miles into Burney Falls State park. I had a box shipped there. My mom put some surprises in my box. Dinosaur socks, mario brothers toy, some trading cards, and some juice box wine. It was awesome.
From there Prudence (Pocahontas) and Chef caught up and the 4 of us hiked another 6 miles to camp.
