We had much better weather today. We woke up and realized we were camping at the base of Mt Jefferson.
The day started with a climb up a big pass. The top of the pass we had an amazing view of Jefferson and got our first view of Mt. Hood.
About noon we reached Oallie lake resort. It only had a small expensive store so we bough a couple sodas and some chips. At the resort we met Problem Bear, Camshaft, and Oregon.
In the afternoon I spent an hour or so going over the entire plot of the movie "Hook" for Minor who had never seen it. Reciting movies is a good way to pass the time on trail. Many groups of hikers do it. We heard of one hiker who was explaining the entire Harry Potter series to her hiking partner.
