28 miles.

The morning started with a nice cloud cover. It kept the temps down for a few hours.

Minor and I hiked together all day. We discussed some future hikes for when we finish the PCT. Mostly some insane weekend hikes.

I've noticed that many hikers talk about their plans after the PCT. Mostly about being more active in their daily lives. When I caught up to Brendan, he also talked about wanting to do more hiking, mountaineering, etc when he gets back to real life. He said the PCT has changed his life and he wants to keep trying new things.

We caught up with Blood Bank who is also from San Diego. She also wanted us all to meet up after the trail to hang out.

At the end of the day there was a long downhill. About 4000 ft in 7 miles.

A couple times this trip we had to get creative while collecting water from some trickling sources. Today we had one of those. I normally use my stove's wind screen to create a trough for the water to run into a bottle.

We passed through the Marble Mountain wilderness today. It was pretty amazing. It reminded me a lot of Europe and the Alps. There were large grass sections and large peaks. There were even some cows grazing with cowbells.
